Checklist For Students Entering the College Fall 2013

There are requirements, deadlines and important information you need to review and respond to prior to the start of your first semester.

Register for a mandatory Summer Orientation session. Registration opens May 1st and is completed through Web Banner.
Housing information is emailed to students who plan to live on campus and have paid the advanced housing deposit. Students are encouraged to complete the Online Housing Application by June 1 for best consideration of their preferences. Meal Plan information is included in this email to deposited students.
Apply for Living Learning Communities.
Fall 2013 advisement/registration information and instructions on how to fill out your Course Preference Survey is mailed. [Triggered by deposit after April 1.]
Log into Web Banner to accept any "offered" financial aid funding included in your financial aid package.
Initiate/complete financial aid application process.
Complete scholarship applications.

Final high school transcripts, AP score reports and college transcripts for classes taken during high school are due for all newly accepted freshmen. Forward official transcripts to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Provide immunization records and health insurance information.
Provide Medical Form (required for student athletes, recommended for all students).
Freshman Orientation Sessions I (June 24-25), II (June 27-28).

Accept any "offered" financial aid funding included in your financial aid package.
Affirm Enrollment and Accept Financial Responsibility
Accept Student Code of Conduct.

Receive fall course schedule.
Receive your Freshman Summer Reading book.
Obtain Eagle One Student ID Card.
Pre-order textbooks.
Purchase Parking Permit.
Register for Disability Services (if applicable).
Log on to Web Bannerto:
- Accept any "offered" financial aid funding included in your financial aid package.
- Affirm Enrollment and Accept Financial Responsibility
- Accept Student Code of Conduct.

July 15: Last day to edit your roommates/preferences on the Online Housing Application.
July 29: Campus housing assignments and roommate information are sent via student e-mail address.

Read your Freshman Summer Reading book.
Sign up for your Saturday of Service activity.
Join myBROCKPORT.
August 23: Welcome Week begins for all new undergraduates. Check the schedule to help plan your arrival on campus.
August 26: Fall classes begin.
