Courses and Programs with Specific Grade Requirements

If you do not see your department listed, there is no specific course you are required to repeat.

If you are repeating a course to improve your grade point average (GPA), you must take 12 additional credits per semester to retain your TAP eligibility.

Art/Art History/BFA All courses used to fill major and minor requirements.

Business/Economics/Accounting

Requires a minimum GPA of 2.0. In prerequisites, no grades lower than C-. ECN201, ECN202, BUS285, BUS286, math prerequisites (MTH201, MTH221, MTH245) and ECN204 (or other statistics course).
College Composition ENL102, ENL112
Communication If broadcasting or journalism, see department.
Dance All courses required to fill major requirements.
Computer Science CSC203, CSC205, CSC311
Education Certification Elementary - All certification courses including DBD311, PSH384, HLS370, EDI300, NAS273.
Foreign Languages and Literatures All courses in French and Spanish required for the major.
Health Sciences All courses required to fill requirements.
History C or above in all courses required to fill major requirements after fall 1992. C or above beginning fall 1995.
International Business Requires grade of B or above in all prerequisites (ECN201, ECN202, BUS285, BUS286, math prerequisites MTH201, MTH221, MTH245, and ECN204, or any other statistic course).
Nursing All courses in nursing major, including all prerequisites
Physical Education and Sport/Certification No courses after fall 1987, except Exercise Physiology and Athletic Training.
