Bachelor of Science Student Learning Objectives

1. Knowledge of business: Students are knowledgeable of the general business environment.

a. Define business-related vocabulary;
b. Apply important business concepts, skills, and theories;
c. Identify the societal, ethical, legal, political, and diversity issues that impact business.
d. Analyze international business issues. 

2. Information literacy: Students are literate in business information and tools.

a. Apply appropriate tools to support business analysis.
b. Use business-related software effectively.
c. Use appropriate sources of data and information, including library and on-line sources. 

3. Analytical and critical thinking ability: Students are capable of critically analyzing business data and conditions.

a. Analyze business data and conditions.
b. Utilize/ employ critical thinking skills. 

4. Communication skills: Students are effective communicators.

a. Communicate effectively in oral format.
b. Communicate effectively in written format.
