Mustafa S. Canbolat

Assistant Professor of Management

Photo of Bill Dresnack. Dr. Mustafa S. Canbolat has joined the faculty in August 2010 as an assistant professor. He has a PhD in Management Science/Systems from McMaster University, MSc. in Systems Science from University of Ottawa and BSc. in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Before joining the SUNY Brockport faculty, he taught as a part-time lecturer at both Brock University and McMaster University.

His teaching interests include production and operations management, quantitative business modeling, management science/operations research, management information systems, business statistics and simulation.

His main area of research is supply chain management with concentration in logistics and facility location and their underlying operational and strategic decisions. His secondary research area is in the area of pricing and revenue management. His research has been published in European Journal of Operational Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Computer and Industrial Engineering, and the International Journal of Services and Operations Management.
