William Dresnack, Esq., CPA

Associate Professor of Accounting and Law, Department Chair

William Dresnack joined the faculty of SUNY Brockport in 1989 and was appointed department chair in 2003. Previously he was affiliated with Deloitte & Touche and KPMG. He has a J.D. from the School of Law at the University at Buffalo, an M.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University, and a B.S. in Management from Long Island University.

Professor Dresnack is a New York CPA and attorney and serves on the boards of several organizations. He is a member of the NY State Board of Public Accountancy and former President of the Rochester Chapter of the NY State Society of CPAs.

Professor Dresnack teaches courses in taxation, business law, and financial accounting. His research interests include accounting education, taxation of business entities, and estate planning issues.
