Timothy C. Hungerford, CPA, CIA, CFE, CMA, CISA, CFM
Adjunct Professor of Accounting
Timothy C. Hungerford joined the faculty of SUNY Brockport in 1999. He is also Vice President of Hungerford Vinton, LLC. He has an M.B.A. in Finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Accounting from Niagara University.
Professor Hungerford teaches courses in cost accounting, intermediate accounting, managerial finance and auditing, and advanced accounting. His research interests include general fraud studies, Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its impact, computer fraud detection techniques, manufacturing costing systems, international finance and accounting issues, and database analysis for the purposes of cost recovery.
He gives seminars regularly for the Institute of Internal Auditors on various topics related to fraud detection or database analysis tools.
In his spare time, Professor Hungerford enjoys bowling, golf, and family.
