Accounting Advisory Council
The Accounting Advisory Council, comprised of prominent and experienced accounting professionals in the Rochester area, advises the Department on matters of curriculum, programs, and initiatives. Input from the Council has been instrumental in shaping the curriculum and ensuring coverage of emerging business issues such as ethics, regulations, accounting information technology and software, and the perennial changes in tax laws. The Council has influenced mission review, strategic planning, and myriad program initiatives. As such, the Council is instrumental to the College's ability to offer contemporary programs that serve the business community and benefits students by informing the program on emerging professional and employment trends.
