SUNY Brockport Accounting Student Wins Scholarship
Christopher D. Abram has been awarded the Rotenberg & Co.
Scholarship in Accounting. Abram is one of three local college students
to receive this prestigious honor.
In addition to academic excellence this scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated significant service to their community.
Abram has been a student at SUNY Brockport since 2001 and has maintained a 3.65 GPA while working approximately 25 hours a week to pay for his college education. He has been active with his high school basketball team where he coaches and teaches. One summer he helped build a new playground at a local recreation center.
Abram received $3000 for the academic year 2004/2005 and has earned
an internship at Rotenberg & Co. LLP, a regional public accounting
firm with over 70 employees. Abram plans to graduate in May of 2005
with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
