Accounting Minor

The School of Business Administration and Economics offers a Minor in Accounting to students who wish to develop accounting skills and knowledge yet major in another discipline (declared majors in Accounting are not eligible).

Declaration requirements:

  • Minimum of 30 hours with GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Grade of "B" or higher in MTH 121 (College Algebra) or a grade of C- or higher in any one of MTH 122, 201, 202, 221, 245, or 281

Requirements for an Accounting Minor:

One accounting elective chosen from ACC 388, 485, 486, 487, 488, or 489 3
Total Number of Credit Hours 18

The minor must be completed with an overall GPA of 2.0 in all courses taken at The College at Brockport. At least 9 of the 18 credit hours for the minor must be completed at The College at Brockport. For complete details, please see the College Catalog. Some of the ACC courses listed above have prerequisites that must also be satisfied.
