Finance Major

The Undergraduate Finance degree at The College at Brockport leads to a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Finance.  At the School of Business Administration and Economics, we continually assess student learning in an effort to help our students excel academically and to reach their full potential. One such way that we ensure student success has been through the implementation of, and adherence to, a set of learning goals for each degree. 

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science,  Finance degree must complete all College general education requirements plus four groups of business-related courses as follows:

  1. Entrance requirements for the major
  2. Corequisite courses
  3. Business core courses
  4. Upper-level finance courses

Students without significant work experience are strongly encouraged to also complete at least one internship experience. Minimal course grade and program admissions standards apply.
