The Undergraduate International Business degree at The College at Brockport leads to a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in International Business. At the School of Business Administration and Economics, we continually assess student learning in an effort to help our students excel academically and to reach their full potential. One such way that we ensure student success has been through the implementation of, and adherence to, a set of learning goals for each degree.
The International Business degree provides the broad-based knowledge and skills needed for managers in business, government and international organizations. Students in the program develop skills in: (1) accounting, management, finance, marketing and the theory and practice of world trade; (2) a foreign language of their choice; and (3) understanding the cross-cultural awareness needed to function effectively in various cultural contexts. Students have the opportunity to participate in overseas internships and can enroll in one of the largest study abroad programs in the country with 22 programs in 11 countries.
