If you have reached this link, there is data on more recent graduating classes. Use the Career Links A-Z pull-down menu to the left, and go to "Survey of Graduates."

Degrees of Success:
What happens to Brockport's graduates?  Classes of 2004-2007

Within a few months after commencement, The College at Brockport surveys our graduates to determine their success in the job market or in graduate study. Here are the results.

Unlike most colleges, The College at Brockport publishes all responses, not just a few carefully selected graduates. Most graduates are employed in full-time professional positions, but you also will see some part-time job titles. These are usually graduates who are continuing in graduate school and also working. We publish all responses because we want you to have an accurate representation of all graduates, not a carefully selected few. Print reports from 1999 to 2007 may be reviewed at Career Services.

Files below are posted as pdf files in order to display correctly. Thus, you need Adobe Reader to view files.

NOTE: For the classes below, this information was accurate at the time of the survey (within a few months of the individual's graduation). These individuals may have been promoted or changed jobs by this time.

Executive Summary

Bachelor's Degrees
(The number of graduates in a major ranges from zero to over 150.  Thus, results may not be representative. Majors with no graduates or no graduates with valid addresses are not listed. Career Services does have national statistics on various occupations that may give a fuller picture of outlook and results.)

Jobs Obtained by Major-  Part-time employment is separated since many of these graduates also are enrolled in a subsequent graduate program.

Respondents who used Career Services received an average of 2.10 job offers.  Those who did not use Career Services reported an average of 1.53 offers.  93% of our graduates who are employed work in New York. Other graduates report working in 22 states and 3 foreign countries.  See a map of alumni locations (from mulitple classes).
