Advertising Your Campus Visit

WHY ADVERTISE?

Career Services at SUNY College at Brockport will automatically advertise your upcoming visit through, JobShop, our Internet Job Listing service, and through a notification to faculty. However, in order to generate more interest in your organization, we highly recommend that you take out an advertisement in the campus newspaper, The Stylus, to let students know about your upcoming visit. This gets the word out to students directly about your visit and helps to generate name and logo recognition.

ABOUT THE STYLUS

The Stylus is widely read both on and off campus. It is printed weekly throughout the academic year and has a circulation of 5,000 in and around Brockport. It has its own Web site that may be accessed at: http://www.brockportstylus.com/ (will open new browser window)

DEADLINE DATES

Advertisements should be mailed in so that they appear the Wednesday before the resume deadline date. An additional advertisement may also be effective the week you will be on-campus. Deadlines for advertising submissions are the end of the day on Thursday the week prior to when the ad will appear.
