CAREER RESOURCES
The Career Resource Room (CRR) in Career Services contains
a collection of about 800 career-related books, videotapes and
periodicals. All materials and computerized services are available
for use between 8 am and 5 pm (8 to 4 summer and intersession). All of our resources may be searched on our Drake Library's on-line catalog. Results listed in the Career Resource Room must be used in Career Services, Rakov Center.
The CRR also houses two computers with a laser printers
for creating and printing résumés, cover letters
or graduate school applications. These computers are connected
to the Internet and provide access to a computerized career
guidance program, Career BeamI, as well as JobShop, and links to many
other job search and graduate school sites.
Career Advisors are on duty in the CRR weekdays from 12 noon to 2 pm to assist with any career related questions as well as
critique résumés, cover letters, and personal
statements. Appointments also are available.
