Career Services offers a number of different recruitment options including career fairs, on-campus interviews, and job postings. The following information is available:
The College at Brockport utilizes an on-line system called JobShop to post all job opportunities. Powered by NACElink*, our system allows you to post positions for our students and alumni at no charge. You also have the option (for a fee through NACElink) to post positions at multiple schools. To post positions (part-time, full-time, internships, ...), your organization has several options. They are:
* We participate in NACElink™, a non-profit service of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, the DirectEmployers Association and colleges, universities and employers nationwide.
On campus interviews can be scheduled anytime at your convenience. On-campus interviewing can be used to fill full-time positions, as well as internships.
In addition, in conjunction with our Jobs and Internships fair, employers have the option of participating in on-campus interviews. For this program, potential candidates submit a résumé to you at our job fair. You then select and schedule the desired candidates for interviews during a scheduled day of your choosing. We will make interviewing space available for you.
Setting up an on-campus interviewing visit at The College at Brockport is cost effective, efficient, and productive because it allows you to meet with several qualified candidates on the same day. There is no cost to you to utilize this service.

The first step to setting up an on-campus visit is to select a time frame for your visit. Check out our campus calendar. Get Directions here. The staff at The College at Brockport needs a minimum of approximately three weeks to set up your visit and get information out to potential candidates.
We will also need a copy of the position description(s) for which you are recruiting. This should include the title, a brief description of the duties, requirements for the position (minimum GPA, majors, technical skills, etc.), and your organization's contact information.
We highly recommend that you plan to advertise your visit in the student newspaper, the Stylus. We have negotiated a very affordable rate for this option. It is suggested that you plan to place the ad the week that résumé are due for prescreening.

Each semester, Career Services hosts a Job and Internship fair. Open to all employers seeking to recruit full-time, part-time, seasonal employees, and interns. Job fairs are a cost-effective way to reach hundreds of Brockport students and alumni.
