Career Assessments – A wide range of career assessments including the on-line program Career Beam. Recommended Activities- A successful career requires preparation throughout one's college career. What activities should students be undertaking now? Individual Career and Job Search Advising - Students may meet with a counselor to discuss career options after graduation. Stop in during drop-in hours (weekdays 12 noon to 2 pm) or call 395-2159 to make an appointment. Job Fairs & Employer Information Sessions - There are several job fairs throughout the year sponsored by Career Services. JobShop - SUNY Brockport’s on-line jobs and internships database powered by NACELink. This includes campus jobs. Career Resource Room - Access to computer workstations and extensive resources on careers, job search and employers. Survey of Graduates – Each year Career Services conducts a survey of the both graduate and undergraduate students one year out from their degree program. What jobs have they obtained? What graduate schools do they attend?
Career Connection- alumni and friends who have volunteered to discuss their career fields with interested students. More information for parents from the National Association of Colleges and Employers. |
