Graduating in May or December?

Attend the five-part series called Milestones for Career Success that starts March 5th. Each Milestone will cover key aspects that will help you to launch a success job search on your own. Knowing what to do in a job search and how to do it will build confidence, reduce stress around the job search process and will yield results.

1. MILESTONE ONE: Self-Awareness & Define Career Target- March 5th, 2015
-Know your strengths, values and what is important to you in a job/career such as salary, geographic location and working conditions.
-Identify job titles appropriate for your interests and abilities

2. MILESTONE TWO: Package Your Message- March 11th, 2015
-Build your resume/cover letter, references, 30-second commercial for networking and incorporate social media into your search strategies

3. MILESTONE THREE: Identify your market – March 26th, 2015
-Resources you can use to find employers/companies you want to work for.
-The true power of networking.
-Develop a target list of employers/companies you want to work for

4. MILESTONE FOUR: Develop Job Search Strategies- April 2nd, 2015
-Set realistic and measureable goals
-Create a plan and track job search progress
-Learn how to manage failure

5. MILESTONE FIVE: Interview Skills and Salary Negotiations- April 9th, 2015
-Tips to be successful in interviewing
-Basic interviewing skills
-Salary negotiation 101
