The MSEd in Educational Administration is designed to meet the needs of students enrolled in the School District Business Leader (SDBL) concentration of the Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Educational Administration program who lack a master's degree, and is usually pursued concurrently.
This MSEd degree is not designed to meet any New York State academic requirements for teacher certification.
Students who wish to pursue this MSEd without continuing to the SDBL CAS program can apply to the MSEd with a SDBL-CAS cohort, as programs in the department are only offered in cohorts. These cohorts begin every 15-18 months. Students should contact the Department of Educational Administration to learn when the next SDBL cohort is projected to start.
