CELT Library
The CELT library book collection is available for all SUNY Brockport faculty and staff to use on loan. The collection includes books on:
- General learning and teaching
- Specific teaching strategies
- Student centered learning
- Teaching with technology
- Assessment
- Faculty development
- Academic administration
- Civic Engagement in Service Learning
In addition, the library collection contains past and current journals, newsletters, newspapers, and other materials on the scholarship of learning and teaching in higher education. CELT also has an extensive array of DVDs, VHS tapes, and audiocassettes featuring past events and other audio/visual presentations.

To request a book send us an e-mail at CELT@brockport.edu with the title of the book and the CELT publication number. The CELT publication number can be found by clicking on the title of the book. The number is listed as "CELT pub.#" in the "Book information" section. We can send your requested books to your department via inter-department mail or you can stop by the CELT office to pick it up at your convenience. You can also come into the CELT resource room in Edwards 100B to browse the collection. The CELT office will be open Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM during the school year and Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM during the summer.
