  Chancellor's Awards and

Distinguished Professor

The 2013 Chancellor's Awards are due in CELT by Monday November 12, 2012.

The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching is responsible for coordinating the SUNY Chancellor’s Award and Distinguished Professor nominations. If you would like to review successful Chancellor's and Distinguished Professor nomination portfolios, CELT has many available in our office in 100B Edwards Hall. The list of previous winners for all awards can be downloaded here.

Previous award recipients please note - as of fall 2007 SUNY modified the eligibility criteria for faculty who have previously received awards so that:

1. Faculty currently holding Distinguished Faculty appointments may not be nominated for an Excellence Award in any of the categories; and
2. Recipients of an Excellence Award may not be nominated for an Excellence Award in a different category for a period of five years.

The campus and SUNY guidelines for most awards can be downloaded by clicking on the links below.
