The 2012 Chancellor's Awards are due in CELT by Monday November 14, 2011.
The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching is responsible for coordinating the SUNY Chancellor’s Award and Distinguished Professor nominations. If you would like to review successful Chancellor's and Distinguished Professor nomination portfolios, CELT has many available in our office in 100B Edwards Hall. The list of previous winners for all awards can be downloaded here.
Previous award recipients please note - as of fall 2007 SUNY modified the eligibility criteria for faculty who have previously received awards so that:
1. Faculty currently holding Distinguished Faculty appointments may not be nominated for an Excellence Award in the Distinguished Rank designation for which they have been appointed; and
2. Recipients of an Excellence Award may not be nominated for an Excellence Award in a different category for a period of five years.

2011-2013 SUNY Administration Guidelines for Chancellor's Awards
While all of the information you need to construct the nomination portfolio is contained in the campus guidelines, the SUNY guidelines provide additional information about the Teaching, Scholarship/Creative Activity, Faculty Service, Librarianship, and Professional Service awards. The latest set of SUNY guidelines will be posted here as soon as they are available.
