Theatre techniques are an ideal tool to enhance public speaking in the classroom, a lecture, or a training. The goal of this workshop is to give participants specific tools to bring their presentation skills to life.
Registration will be limited to the first 15 faculty and staff who sign up. Lunch will be provided so please indicate if you have any dietary requirements, please email email@example.com to let us know.
Ruth Childs is an Associate Professor of Theatre at Brockport. She teaches acting, voice, and movement, and directs on the mainstage. Ruth has worked at many theatres and universities as a director, actor and voice coach including The Guthrie Theatre, Geva Theatre Centre, JCCenterstage, SUNY Albany, University of Rochester, and Grinnell College. Ruth is an Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework.
