The CELT Peer Mentoring program is designed for pre-tenure, relatively new adjunct/part-time faculty members and new department chairs. Mentees are matched with someone in a different department based on the information provided in the sign-up form. After that, we will send an email to you and your mentor to introduce you to each other. After this introduction, it is the mentee’s responsibility to arrange a meeting with her or his mentor. These meetings tend to be informal discussions over coffee or lunch. The goal of this program is to spark dialogue about teaching or other job related issues. The mentorship will last for at least one semester. CELT will pay for mentors and mentees to have lunch or coffee on campus.
If you would like to be or request a Peer Mentor, please submit the Faculty Peer Mentor Application.
