Workshops

All students completing certification programs at The College at Brockport must complete both CAD (Child Abuse Identification) and SAVE (School Violence and Intervention) training. In addition, all students completing Inclusive teaching programs must complete Autism Training.

Most certification candidates, through their studies here at Brockport, enroll in coursework that offers the opportunity to complete these required trainings.

Not all students complete these trainings through their Brockport studies however. Most affected are transfer students and graduate students seeking their first certification.

Any student not able to show proof of training completion, and not scheduled to complete a course that offers such training, can complete the appropriate training through one of the online workshops posted below.  Please note that once you have completed an online workshop you must print your certificate of completion and submit a copy to your academic department as proof that you have satisfied that program requirement.
