Physical Organic Chemistry and Chemistry for the Health Professions
In recent years my students and I have been involved in the study of how nucleophiles add to quinones. This interest grew from studies of the literature of quinone chemistry. I have also maintained interests in the biography of chemists, the history of science, and the description of the ways in which chemical studies influence our wider society. At the moment I am Consulting Editor for the Centennial Edition of Nobel Prize Winners in Chemistry to be published by Salem Press of Pasadena, California.
