Physical Safety in the Lab

In addition to the hazards inherent to the use of chemicals in a lab, there are plenty of physical hazards as well. These may include:

• Electrical Issues
• Equipment
  • Glassware
  • Centrifuges
  • Heating Devices (hot plates, heating baths, Bunsen burners)
  • Cooling Devices (cryogenic, refrigerators/freezers, ice machines)
