Matriculation in the Master of Arts in Communication program may be secured by application to the Office of Graduate Admissions. To qualify for admission, an applicant must submit:
transcripts of all undergraduate and prior graduate work; and
letters of recommendation from three persons in a position to assess the applicant's potential for significant academic achievement.
At least a 3.0 undergraduate grade point average on a 4.0 scale and a "B" average in the undergraduate major and/or in undergraduate communication courses are normally required.
An undergraduate major in communication is not required. However, applicants without an undergraduate background in communication are required to take their full programs of graduate study in communication courses.
