Rick Woodson started his newspaper career at the Shreveport (La.) Journal, where he was assistant sports editor. He has been sports editor/columnist at the Longview (Wash.) Daily News and the Honolulu (Hawaii) Advertiser and was a sports reporter/columnist at the Rochester Times-Union for 15 years. Rick has won more than 20 first-place awards for his writing, including two in the most recent National Newspaper Association and the New York Press Assoociation competitions. Rick has been a host for both radio and television shows in Rochester and currently hosts The Golf Tee Show every Sunday on WHTK-AM (Rochester). Additionally, Rick has been writing a sports column for the Rochester Business Journal for the past 14 years.
