The Office of College Communications is responsible for the College's internal and external communications. We offer a variety of services for the College community. All publicity, marketing and advertising should be approved by our office prior to implementation.
All marketing materials, with the exception of letters and memos, and especially those not produced through the Office of College Communications, must be approved by our office if the materials are to be distributed off campus or are even likely to end up going off campus.
This is simply a good administrative and budgetary practice and can be indicated on the Pre-Login Form. Major projects may require the authorization of a higher administrative level due to cost and interdepartmental implications. All approvals must be obtained prior to being sent to the printer, whether the material is being printed on campus or by an off-campus vendor, and applies to quick-print (photocopy) jobs as well. Required changes will be made to copy and/or layout prior to proceeding to the printer.
The best way for you to learn about our services is to ask us. We encourage you to let us know as soon as possible about the projects you anticipate as we manage a large volume of work throughout the year. The earlier you let us know that you need our help, the better we can serve you.
The Communications Manual provides an outline for getting your events and materials into print, online or publicized. These tools are here to help you understand our process. However, we can provide more detail when we are engaged to assist you.
