Cap and Gown with "I DID IT!" on it On behalf of The College of Brockport, State University of New York, and the university community, welcome to Commencement 2012. This promises to be an exciting time as we celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates.

We will celebrate on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12, 2012. During our ceremonies, we will recognize our students and highlight our tradition, college pride and community spirit. We’re proud of our students and we look forward to celebrating their achievements.

Nursing Ceremony
5:30 pm in the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium

Teacher Certification Ceremony
Department of Education and Human Development
7 pm in the Seymour College Union, Ballroom

Honors Program Student Ceremony
4 pm in Cooper Hall, New York Room

Department of History Graduation Ceremony
7 pm at the Morgan Manning House, 49 State St., Brockport

Saturday, May 12

Graduate Ceremony
9 am in the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium

Undergraduate Ceremony
12:45 pm Outdoors (rain or shine) in Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium

New this year: The Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will be streamed live on the College’s website, so it can be watched from anywhere in the world!

Honorary Degree Recipients

The College will present two individuals with honorary degrees during Commencement Ceremonies. Dr. Robert Gold '69 will receive the Doctor of Science degree at the Graduate Ceremony, while Stuart Krieger '73 will receive the Doctor of Humane Letters degree at the Undergraduate Ceremony. Each will deliver the Commencement address at their respective ceremonies. Read bios for our speakers.
