Cap and Gown with "I DID IT!" on itOn behalf of The College of Brockport, State University of New York, and the university community, welcome to Commencement 2016. This promises to be an exciting time as we celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates.

We will celebrate on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14, 2016. During our ceremonies, we will recognize our students and highlight our tradition, college pride and community spirit. We’re proud of our students and we look forward to celebrating their achievements.

Friday, May 13

Military Science (ROTC) Commissioning Ceremony
10 am in Tower Fine Arts Center
Reception immediately following

Honors College Ceremony
4 pm in Cooper Hall, New York Room
Reception immediately following

Graduate Ceremony
5 pm in the SERC Field House
Reception immediately following

Nursing Ceremony
6 pm in Tuttle North, Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium
Reception immediately following

Teacher Certification Ceremony
For childhood-inclusive and adolescence-inclusive education teacher candidates
in the Department of Education and Human Development

7:30 pm in the Seymour College Union Ballroom
Reception immediately following

Saturday, May 14

Undergraduate Morning Ceremony
For students from the School of Health and Human Performance
and the School of Science and Mathematics
9:30 am in the SERC Field House
Reception immediately following

 Undergraduate Afternoon Ceremony
For students from the Schools of The Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences;
Business Administration and Economics; and Education and Human Services
2 pm in the SERC Field House

Not sure which school your major's department is in? Check this list.

If you plan on participating in a Commencement ceremony in May 2016, submit the Application for Graduation as soon as possible, and no later than April 8, for your name to appear in the Commencement program and to be eligible to claim guest tickets to the ceremony. (Tickets will be required for the undergraduate ceremonies. Tickets are not required for the graduate ceremony.)
