Parking: Lot T

The College at Brockport is pleased to invite all undergraduate nursing students, their families, and guests to the Nursing Recognition Ceremony in the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium located in Tuttle North.

Students should arrive by 3:20 pm and go directly to the front of Hartwell Hall for the class picture. After the picture, the group will proceed to gyms 205/206 in Tuttle North to line up for the ceremony. All students must be lined up by 5 pm. The student procession begins promptly at 5:30 pm, so family members and friends should be seated no later than 5:15 pm.

Balloons are not allowed inside the SERC.

Rehearsal

The rehearsal will take place on Monday, May 13, from 10:30-11 am in the Tuttle North Ice Arena.

Class Picture

At 3:20 pm, there will be a mandatory class picture taken in front of Hartwell Hall. After the picture, the group will proceed to gyms 205/206 in Tuttle North to line up for the ceremony.

Pictures during Nursing Recognition Ceremony

Students will be called up on stage individually by their clinical groups. Guests are welcome to take pictures at this time.

Reception

Following the ceremony, please join us at a reception in gyms 205/206, adjacent to the Vlogianitis Gymnasium.

Green Caps, Gowns, and Tassels

All ceremony participants must wear the College’s green commencement gowns, caps, and tassels. Sets may be purchased for $45.98 at the Barnes & Noble College Bookstore (Seymour College Union) beginning April 3. No advance order is necessary as sizes are assigned by height. Eligible students can purchase cords for $13.98. When you pick up your cap and gown set, you will receive detailed information on the Commencement Ceremony.

Directions, Campus Map, and Parking

Since traffic delays are unavoidable, guests should plan to arrive early to allow extra time to be seated.

Directions to The College at Brockport

Plan to enter the campus via Commencement Drive (off Route 31). Get our Campus Map.

No parking permit is required.

Access for Mobility Impaired Guests

Mobility impaired guests can be dropped off in U loop, located north of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium. Drivers can park in lot T. Handicapped parking spaces are available in the north end of lot T.
