College Office Support Advisory Committee

CAMPUS COMMITTEES

COSAC has representatives on several campus committees in order to keep the interests of office support staff in mind, to keep us informed, and to take our ideas and suggestions back to their respective committees. If you have questions or suggestions for any of these committees, please contact these COSAC representatives.

• Campus Safety Committee – Pam Rowles

No report. The committee has not met.

• College Technology Council (CTC) – Tammy Loscombe

The CTC has changed its format a bit and is now made up of five working groups that report to the CTC as a whole. These five working groups are:

• Web Advisory Committee – Advises the Chief Information Officer (CIO), CTC and the College on matters relating to the campus website, and its design, content and use. (Office support staff representing COSAC on the Web Advisory Committee are Sandy Mullin and Anne Canale-Stalnecker.)
• Technology Convergence Group – Advises the CIO, CTC and the College on matters relating to the convergence of cable-based and wireless technology, video services, telecommunications, and access thereto and use thereof.
• Angel Committee – Guides the College’s use of the ANGEL Classroom Management System, furthering its use on campus and planning for future enhancements.
• Network Access and Policy Subcommittee – Advises the CIO, CTC and the College on matters relating to use of the campus information network.
• Needs Assessment Committee – Will plan and conduct a technology comprehensive needs assessment for the College as a foundation for updating the Technology Strategic Plan.

 

• CSEA Employee Recognition Committee – Carolyn Everett

Nominations for recognition are being accepted by the Office of Human Resources through 4:30pm on December 1, 2004. Employees selected for a recognition award will receive a $35 gift certificate for the Barnes and Noble Bookstore on campus!
