Kim Cattat, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, Department of Criminal Justice

 

Kim Cattat has been an assistant professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at SUNY College at Brockport since 2002.   Professor Cattat received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English Literature from St. Lawrence University (1991), a Master of Science in Education from the University of Rochester (1995) and her doctorate in Sociology at SUNY at Buffalo.   Prior to joining the faculty at SUNY College at Brockport, Professor Cattat taught at SUNY at Buffalo for six years for the department of Sociology and for the Educational Opportunity Program.   In addition, she also served as the project coordinator and primary investigator for a two-year evaluation study of The Osborne Association’s FamilyWorks program, a parenting program for fathers in prison.
