Melchor de Guzman
Dr. de Guzman’s courses emphasize the three Es (Educating, Engaging, & Emprowering) in his teaching philosophy. His 8 years teaching experiences include variety of subjects covering criminology, policing, criminal justice systems, international and comparative issues. His research agenda includes the investigation of effective means of citizen participation in policing. Along this line, he has published articles on civilian review, assessment of police website, administrative issues, and community policing.
