Summer Ireland Program July -August

The Program

This five week, six undergraduate credit program is open to students of all disciplines with a GPA of 2.5 or better ( on scale of 4.0). The students will be offered instruction at the Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT), in Waterford, Ireland.

Program Location

Waterford, a 'Sister City' of Rochester, is located on the sunny southeast coast of Ireland. It was founded around 850 AD, and is a city where old and new happily co-exist. Waterford is surrounded by a wonderful variety of natural unspoiled countryside. Within twenty miles of the city you can find seaside resorts, fishing ports, secluded beaches and clifftop walks. If you like sports and culture, you will find much in Waterford. The Regional sports Centre is close to the Institute and the nearby sea and mountains provide facilities for surfing, sailing, swimming, hiking and climbing. There are museums, music, theatre and many fine restaurants.
