Department of Computer Science

Computer Science Club and ACM Student Chapter

Interested students may join the Computer Science Club, a Brockport Student Government chartered organization whose purpose is "to promote an increased knowledge of, and greater interest in, computer science and its applications." The club sponsors academic and social activities and provides a forum for information on career opportunities. In addition, the club offers students a chance to participate in various departmental decisions.

The Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) at The College at Brockport offers the student an opportunity to become a member of a major professional society in the computer science field. The Association's activities include a programming competition, a lecture series, and professional development seminars.
