Evans has choreographed more than 200 works for professional modern dance, ballet and tap dance companies. He has performed internationally, and in all 50 states, both with and without his own professional dance company (which he has helmed for over 30 years and has recently re-established here in Rochester). On this 70th birthday milestone he ruminates, “When I perform, age becomes irrelevant. Only the moment matters.”
