Tickets may be purchased at Tower Fine Arts Center Box Office unless otherwise indicated. Box Office Hours:  Monday-Friday:  9:30am-5pm and Saturday:  10am-4pm. Call the Box Office at (585) 395-2787.  Credit card reservations and remaining tickets will be available at the Hartwell Box Office one hour prior to scheduled performance times.

David Dorfman Dance presented by Student Dance Organization
Since its founding in 1985, David Dorfman Dance has performed extensively in New York City and throughout North and South America, Great Britain, and Europe. David Dorfman and the company’s dancers and artistic collaborators have been honored with eight New York Dance and Performance ("Bessie") Awards. David Dorfman, a native Chicagoan, is the recipient of a 2005 Guggenheim Foundation fellowship. He has also been honored with four fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, three New York Foundation for the Arts fellowships, an American Choreographer's Award, the first Paul Taylor Fellowship from The Yard, and a "Bessie" for David Dorfman Dance's community-based project Familiar Movements (The Family Project).

DANSCORE
After the 2006 DANSCORE performances, two selections from the concert were chosen to help celebrate the inauguration of Governor Elliot Spitzer. Why travel all the way to Albany, when that sort of talent is available in your own backyard? DANSCORE is the perfect opportunity to see pieces created by faculty and guest artists, who Rochester’s City News admits are some of the “top names” in the field.

Sankofa African Dance and Drum Ensemble
Color, light, rhythm and energy abound in this celebration of Afro/Caribbean/Brazilian culture. As directed by choreographer Clyde Alafiju Morgan and master drummer Khalid Abdul N’Faly Saleem, these performances are consistent sell-outs. Act early for the best seats!
