| Rose Eichenbaum captures dancers on film
This October
2005 presentation at SUNY Brockport included numerous projected images
from Masters of Movement: Portraits of America's Great
Choreographers, Eichenbaum's recently published collection of
interviews with some of this country's most noted dance artists.
In this work, Eichenbaum asks where the impulse to create originates.
The result is a book that the New York Times said "[opens]
windows onto the soul of dance."
Dr. Maura Keefe, assistant professor of dance at SUNY Brockport, conducted the interview with Eichenbaum. |

Check out the new Arts for Children Web page for this growing program. This past summer, Arts for Children and Dance double major Marisa Ballaro performed for the American Dance Legacy Institute's Dancing Rebels national conference held at the National Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs. It is a great honor for Marrisa, the Arts for Children Program, the Department of Dance and SUNY Brockport that she was chosen to participate in this event. |
