This year’s theme, “Building Community through Diversity: Embracing a Culture of Accessibility," highlighted diversity as an important value in building and nurturing an inclusive community, as well as our growth in understanding and acting upon issues of access to individuals with disabilities. Our Conference seeks to promote open-mindedness, the celebration of diversity and inclusiveness, acceptance of others on our college campuses and within our communities. The Conference also serves as a forum in which to establish or enhance self-awareness of community building endeavors.
