Department of Educational Administration

Spring 2013 Schedule

Listed below are the Educational Administration open enrollment course offerings for the Spring 2013 semester. All of these courses, with the exception of EDA 653.74 Site Management, EDA 678.74 Models of Effective Supervision, EDA 885 Practicum and EDA 888 Administrative Internship, will meet at the SUNY Metro Center, 55 St. Paul Street, Rochester.

Registration for the Spring 2013 semester for matriculated graduate students will begin on Monday, November 5, at 6:00 am. Any registration processed on or after January 28 will incur an additional late registration fee of $40.00.  Any registration processed after February 5 will incur an additional $20 late fee for a total of $60.

The deadline for applications for matriculation to be received (not postmarked) in the Graduate Admissions Office for the 2013 spring session is Thursday, November 15, 2012. EDA 600.61 requires registration through the department. To register for EDA 600.61 you must have completed two years of satisfactory teaching or pupil personnel services experience. This is defined as a full-time, probationary position or long-term substitute experience; per diem substitute teaching does not qualify. You must so verify by submitting a letter on school district stationery from the superintendent of schools or the director of personnel/human resources.

EDA 885, EDA 888, and EDA 896 also require registration through the department. Students interested in these courses should contact the department via e-mail to edadmin@brockport.edu or by phone at 585-395-2661.
