Professionally Dr. Reiner is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Association for Adult Development and Aging (AADA), Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), North Atlantic Region Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (NARACES), New York State School Counselor Association (NYSSCA), and the American Counseling Association of New York (ACA-NY). She has served as President of AADA, NARACES and ACA-NY. She is the Past Chair of the American Counseling Association's North Atlantic Region and serves as a co-chair for the Western New York School Counselors Consortium Conference. She serves on the editorial boards for the ACA's Journal of Counseling & Development  and AADA's Adultspan.
