THE FRANCES MORONEY WHITED READING SCHOLARSHIP
The Frances Moroney Whited Reading Scholarship recognizes an outstanding student
in the SUNY College at Brockport teacher education elementary certification
program who has demonstrated commitment and potential for excellence in
the teaching of reading in the elementary classroom. This scholarship was established in 1985,
by Dr. Frances Moroney Whited, professor emeritus of the Department
of Education and Human Development.
