Scholarships, Awards & GrantsApplication Deadline For All Awards
Friday, March 1, 2014
The Department of Education and Human Development offers a variety of scholarships and awards for undergraduate and graduate students. To view the awards and criteria, please select from the following programs below:
| Undergraduate Childhood | Graduate Childhood | |
| Undergraduate Adolescence | Graduate Adolescence |
To apply for a department award, visit: www.brockport.edu/scholarships/foundation and follow the directions under How to Apply. You will fill out the general application and then be matched to all awards (e.g., campus-wide) for which you qualify based on the preliminary information you have entered.
When applying for awards in the Department of Education and Human Development, you will be accepting a major responsibility, which must be given careful thought and will require time and energy. You should keep in mind the fact that the donors of the awards did the same thing – they gave careful thought to the development of the awards in cooperation with the Brockport Foundation. In doing this, the donors were expressing a commitment to excellence in teacher education; as a recipient you are recognized for your work and efforts here at Brockport. When pursuing advanced work in your professional area, the award will certainly enhance your academic records.
The Class of 1953 and Newman Scholarships are reviewed through The College at Brockport's Scholarship Office in room 622; Allen Building. Contact the Scholarship office at (585)-395-5414 for more information on these awards.
