THE ERNEST C. HARTWELL MEMORIAL AWARD


The Ernest C. Hartwell Memorial Award is given in honor of Dr. Ernest Hartwell, President of the College from 1936-1944, to an outstanding senior student elementary or secondary education who has also made a significant contribution to the College and student body through extra-curricular activities.

Eligibility:

  1. Senior year student.
  2. Registered in elementary or secondary education certification program.
  3. Must be in upper 50% of class.

Criteria:

  1. Must demonstrate scholastic merit and professional promise.
  2. Must have made a significant contribution to the College and student body through extra-curricular activities.
