Sandra Hill Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Sandra Hill to recognize an outstanding student in The College at Brockport's Department of Education and Human Development with a dual certification in Special Education.

Eligibility and Criteria:

  1. Be a graduation senior in the Department of Education and Human Development at the undergraduate level with a dual certification in Special Education.
  2. Demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
  3. Demonstrate a commitment to the career of teaching with a dedication to Special Education.

Criteria:

  1. A 500-word essay which:
    1. describes why the applicant is deserving of the award, and
    2. discusses the applicant's commitment to teaching in inclusive settings.
  2. Provide a recent copy of the Degree Audit Report System (DARS).
