SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND HUMAN SERVICES AWARD

The School of Education and Human Services Award recognizes a graduating Senior (December, May, August) who has made significant contributions to services and activities and/or college-wide activities.

Eligibility:

  1. A senior registered in a School of Education and Human Services program: Criminal Justice, Teacher Certification (Childhood, Adolescence), Social Work, and Health Science.
  2. A minimum of three (3) semesters of study at Brockport.
  3. A minimum overall GPA of 3.50.

Criteria:

  1. Significant contributions to Brockport activities related to the social professions, i.e., peer counseling tutoring Brockport students or elementary/secondary pupils, Dorm Council.
  2. Demonstrated leadership and service through the college-wide departmental of field activities, committees, and clubs.

    *Selection is made by a committee appointed by the Dean for the School of Education and Human Services consisting of faculty representing each component of the School. Awards Committee will screen applications, then forward to the Dean’s Committee.
