Each of the three Field Experience Placements requires 50 clock hours at a local school district. Placements are arranged by the Field Experience Office - teacher candidates do not make their own placement arrangements. The teacher candidate must submit a Field Experience Placement Application/Request Form the semester prior to their field experience. A new form is needed for each of the three placements. In addition, a resume is required, and teacher candidates need to register for the course as soon as possible.

  • Fall 2012 field experience placement confirmations will be sent out via e-mail beginning the week of June 4, 2012.
  • Fall 2012 field experience placement dates begin in September and go through December 7, 2012.
  • Field Experience Placement Request forms and resumes for fall 2012 are due March 15, 2012.
