Childhood Education Curriculum Specialist

The Childhood Education Curriculum Specialist program meets the degree requirements for NYS Professional Childhood 1-6, Early Childhood Birth-Grade 2*, or NYS Permanent Elementary Pre K-6 certification.

Prerequisites

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
2. Valid NYS initial Childhood Education Grades 1-6, initial Early Childhood Birth-Grade 2, or provisional elementary (Pre-K- Grade 6) certification

* Please note that completion of this program does not lead to an extension or additional certification in Childhood Education Grades 1-6 for those holding the initial Early Childhood Birth-Grade 2 certification upon program entrance.
