INITIAL CERTIFICATION INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS WITH A BACHELOR'S DEGREE:
Childhood Inclusive Education Program
SUNY Brockport does not have an initial certification program for applicants who
have already completed a bachelor's degree. Eligibility to apply for initial certification
in Childhood Inclusive(Grade 1-6) Education is contingent upon current enrollment at Brockport
in an approved academic major at the undergraduate level. Education is not a major
at Brockport.
If you have already completed a bachelor's degree and are interested in pursuing initial certification in Childhood, the first step is to first apply to the college by contacting Undergraduate Admissions for a Second Degree. The current list of approved academic majors are listed in the program fact sheets and the Childhood application (forthcoming July 2007).
