May 2004 EOP Newsletter

Congratulations to all EOP Graduates

Let me begin by first thanking all of you who were in attendance at our 25th Annual Awards Banquet on April 17, 2004. Again, it was a wonderful evening and a great success. I would like to also extend a thank you to the EOP staff for the great effort each of them put forth to make the banquet successful. There are three people who deserve recognition and a special thank you for a job well done. They are the ones who brought this year's banquet together and made it work. They of course, are Ida Rockwell, Terri Stymus, and, especially the coordinator of this year's banquet, Sophea So. I would like to say to each of you how much the College and I appreciate your hard work, and to tell you how wonderful this year's banquet was. Again, thanks. We are again approaching the end of another year and we all know what that means final papers and exams or as I call it, crunch time. Now as we approach the end, I would like to pose a few questions to assist each of you in finishing on a good note:

  1. Do you know what needs to be done in each course to end the semester and to get the best grade possible?
  2. Have you completed your 2004 - 05 FAFSA and are you packaged for 2004 - 05?
  3. Did you accept your aid electronically?
  4. Are you pre-registered for the fall 2004 semester?
  5. Did you affirm your enrollment
  6. If you are expecting to live on campus, did you put in your housing reservation?

It is important that you are able to answer each of these questions. Believe me if you can't you will encounter some problems. So see your counselor and make sure everything is in order. Finally, good luck and have a safe and wonderful summer.
